Calla Hastings ’14 is a summer undergraduate research fellow with the Social Network Innovation Lab. She is a Sociology and Gender and Women’s studies double major. Working as a qualitative researcher, she will develop various survey and interview instruments through which to study social networks and the people who use them.
Rachel Pollinger ’15 is an undergraduate research assistant in the Social Network Innovation Lab. She is interested in statistical analysis as well as the influence of social networking on present-day communication. For a senior project in high school she analyzed various factors affecting SAT scores. She participated in the Worcester County Mathematics League for three years in high school and intends to major in mathematics at Bowdoin.
